Alba
Recognized capital and northern door of the Langhe hills, Alba lies on an eccentric position, on the right bank of the river Tanaro and to the feet of the hills where Alba itself degrades with its lowest offshoots. From the Langa tormented millenarian history, Alba conserves many memories but only few monuments.
Invaded many times and plundered through the centuries, today it cannot offer more than some ancient churches and some proud towers over its houses.
