Garassino
The Barbera variety of vine is grown in an old vineyard of more than fifty years of age. The plants are scored by time and with each vintage yield up smaller and thinner bunches. But they are packed with good substance. Being full of structure, the wine is not intimidated by 12-13 months of maturing in barriques, while it is softened by the subsequent refinement in the bottle that renders it graceful with its scarlet hue, bouquet that attenuates the fragrance of fruit with delicate vanilla perfumes, and full, austere flavour that fulfils every desire for pleasure.
